How Midtown Helps

Our 4-Step process helps local families achieve housing self-sufficiency

Step 1

At-risk families and individuals contact us

Silicon Valley residents who are homeless or facing homelessness are encouraged to contact us by phone or email.

Step 2

We assess what they need to achieve stability

We use evidence-based assessments to determine what clients need to achieve lasting self-sufficiency.

Step 3

We navigate them to needed services

We stay engaged until clients are enrolled with appropriate service providers and have received the assistance that they need.

Step 4

We follow up and periodically check in

We follow up with clients to ensure that they maintain housed status, and have secured lasting and comprehensive stability.

Stability Protects Families

Housing is the foundation of family

Our programs drive our mission of navigating Silicon Valley residents to achieve self-sufficiency in housing, financial freedom, and build a network of social support.

Re-Entry Services

Midtown's Re-Entry Services uses a Housing First strategy to meet the immediate housing needs parolees have upon return, for 1 year, so that motivated individuals are able to obtain stable incomes sufficient to continue paying for housing and other personal needs on their own.

Family Services

We provide support for hard working families to help them become economically stable. Support comes in the form of both financial and social support, which may include emergency economic relief, family counseling, small debt relief, and parenting classes.

Midtown is a blessing, especially to young mothers like me

"There are more homeless moms out there that have struggled for so long," Janette says, "Sometimes we feel like finding good people is impossible but Midtown is just that, the good people; they are a blessing to people in need like me and my baby."
